Understanding Job Filters
Once the tool's AI has analyzed jobs for your client, you'll have access to tens or even hundreds of matched opportunities. Job filters help you quickly narrow down results to find the most relevant positions based on position type, location, compatibility score, and application status.
Before you begin: Make sure jobs module has been activated for your client. If you're still in the setup phase, complete the job setup wizard first.
Accessing the Filters
Job filters are located at the top of the Jobs dashboard. Each filter is a dropdown menu that refines the list of jobs displayed below. You can combine multiple filters to create targeted job lists.
If you're looking for a specific job you know you saved but it doesn't appear in the list, review your active filters. Filters exclude jobs that don't match the selected criteria, so a saved job may be hidden by your current filter settings.
Jobs vs. Archived
Toggle between active jobs and archived jobs:
Jobs – View current, active opportunities
Archived Jobs – Review positions your client has archived or dismissed
Archived jobs are not deleted. You can switch back to the Jobs view and restore any archived position.
Available Filters
Position Filter
Filter by specific job titles that match your client's profile. This is helpful when your client is targeting multiple position types (e.g., "Principal Software Engineer," "Software Architect," "Director of Engineering").
Use this filter to help your client focus on one role at a time, especially if they're exploring multiple career paths.
Location Type Filter
Filter jobs by work arrangement:
On-site – Jobs requiring in-office presence
Remote – Fully remote positions
Hybrid – Mix of remote and on-site work
Posted Time Filter
Filter jobs by how recently they were posted:
Last 24 hours – Newest opportunities
Last 7 days – Recent postings
Last 30 days – All current jobs
Encourage your clients to check the "Last 24 hours" filter regularly to be among the first applicants for new postings.
Compatibility Score Filter
Each job receives an AI-assigned compatibility score based on how well your client's skills, experience, and preferences match the position. Filter to show only high-scoring opportunities:
90+ – Excellent matches
80+ – Strong matches
70+ – Good matches
And so on...
Focus on jobs with 70+ compatibility scores to maximize your client's chances of landing interviews.
Tags Filter
Filter by custom tags you've added to jobs. Tags help you organize and group jobs for specific purposes (e.g., "Email" for jobs requiring follow-up, priority labels, or client-specific categories). Only jobs with the selected tags appear in the filtered view.
Star Rating Filter
Filter jobs by star rating to quickly find positions you've rated to reflect preferences (5 stars for most preferred Jobs and 1 for non-priority jobs). Note that star ratings are for organizational purposes only and do not train the AI or affect job matching.
Status Filter
Track your client's progress through the job search process using status tags:
Unsaved – New jobs that haven't been reviewed yet
Saved – Jobs your client is interested in pursuing
Applied – Applications submitted
Networking – Jobs where your client is networking or reaching out
Interviewing – Active interview processes
Offered – Job offers received
Not Selected – Applications that were declined
Withdrawn – Jobs your client chose not to pursue
Combining Filters
Use multiple filters together to create targeted lists:
Remote + 80+ Score + Last 7 days – Find the best new remote opportunities
Applied + Interviewing – Track active applications and interviews
Unsaved + 70+ Score – Discover high-potential jobs that haven't been reviewed yet
